Combining immersive 3D environments, high-quality CGI and offline functionality, alongside a cinematic 3D animation for large-scale display, the platform transforms complex industrial networking solutions into clear, accessible and engaging experiences.

Challenge
Siemens Rugged Communications, part of the Siemens Digital Industries division, delivers high-performance networking solutions for demanding industrial environments, including energy, transport and manufacturing.

While its technology is critical to enabling secure and resilient communication, communicating this complexity in a clear and engaging way at events presented a challenge. Existing presentation tools lacked interactivity and struggled to capture attention in busy exhibition environments.

Siemens needed a more dynamic and immersive way to showcase its portfolio, one that could attract visitors to the stand, simplify complex technical information and support meaningful sales conversations. The solution also needed to work seamlessly both online and offline, ensuring usability in any environment.

Strategy
The strategy focused on creating a layered experience that would engage audiences at multiple levels.

At the forefront, a high-impact visual experience would attract attention and draw visitors onto the stand. This would then be supported by a more detailed, interactive tool to enable deeper exploration and more meaningful engagement.

The approach combined immersive storytelling with practical sales enablement, ensuring Siemens could communicate both the breadth and depth of its offering while supporting cross-selling opportunities. Flexibility was key, with all elements designed to function both online and offline.

At the centre of the experience is a fully interactive 3D environment, evolving Siemens’ existing 2D content into a more engaging and user-friendly format. Users can explore real-world scenarios, interact with hotspots and access detailed product information and case studies.

To capture attention at scale, we also created a cinematic 3D animation for display on large trade show screens. This hero asset brought Siemens’ rugged communications solutions to life in a visually striking way, showcasing products in context and highlighting their performance in demanding environments. Acting as a visual anchor for the stand, it helped draw in visitors and set the tone for the wider experience.

The interactive journey is introduced through a dedicated animation, guiding users into the platform, while high-quality CGI renders and 360-degree product animations provide detailed views of individual solutions, including exploded views that demonstrate technical precision.

The platform was designed for flexibility, allowing content to be accessed both online and offline. This ensures the sales team can deliver a consistent and engaging experience regardless of connectivity, whether at exhibitions, customer meetings or in the field.
