Interactive Mini World

Summary

ArmstrongB2B® partnered with AMICO Architectural Metals to create an interactive 3D campus experience showcasing how AMICO’s architectural metal systems integrate across every phase of a modern data center build.

Blending a realistic Texas-set environment with high-end CGI product modelling, the platform translated ten distinct product categories into a clear, explorable story, positioning AMICO’s solutions as the material language behind a new generation of data centers designed to be more than a box.

Challenge

AMICO Architectural Metals required a high-impact digital platform to showcase a complex, cross-category product range across its full portfolio of data center solutions.

The challenge was to communicate how ten distinct product families, expanded metal, perforated metal and mesh systems, work together to support every phase of a data center build, from structure and security through to architectural finish. This needed to be delivered in a way that was both technically credible and visually engaging, while resonating with a specialist audience of architects, specifiers and contractors in an interactive, self-directed format.

Strategy

Our approach was to frame the story as a journey across a working campus, using a realistic Texas-set data center environment as a powerful, tangible showcase for the range.

We focused on translating a complex, multi-product catalogue into clear, benefit-led exploration, highlighting where each system solves a specific problem, security, airflow, durability, architectural presence, at the exact point it appears on site. By positioning the main building’s office and entrance areas as proof that data centers can be more than a box, the platform was designed to appeal to both technical specifiers and design-led decision makers.

Creative

ArmstrongB2B® developed an interactive 3D campus experience that combined a fully modelled Texas hyperscale environment with nine close-up, clickable product moments.

The narrative was brought to life through a layered exploration model, wide establishing views supported by detailed CGI product modelling and dedicated SketchFab renders for closer inspection. The visual approach balanced material and technical precision with a premium, architectural aesthetic aligned to AMICO’s positioning in the market.

Through seamless integration of campus-scale environment and product-level CGI, the platform clearly demonstrated how AMICO’s ten solutions work together across a single build, delivering a compelling showcase for use in sales conversations, trade shows and beyond.
