Summary

Egger UK asked ArmstrongB2B® to help improve understanding of its extensive range of high pressure laminates and to support architects, designers and fabricators in choosing the most suitable products for each application. With such a wide variety of finishes, colours and styles, the challenge was to present the options in a way that was both accessible and informative.

We created an immersive three dimensional environment that brought Egger materials to life through a series of detailed interior settings. Each space, including hospitality, retail, residential and office environments, featured recommended product combinations selected for their performance and visual qualities. Viewers could move through the model with ease, exploring surfaces in context and learning how different materials work together.

The outcome is a rich and engaging digital platform that simplifies specification, highlights the versatility of the Egger range and provides a valuable tool for product education across multiple channels.

Challenge

Egger UK manufactures innovative high-pressure laminates for an extensive range of applications. The breadth of finish, colour and style requires a great degree of product support to ensure the correct products are specified, and that architects, fabricators and designers are fully aware of the alternative and complementary colours and finishes.

 

Strategy

Our approach was to create an informative and visually engaging 3D environment that featured a number of internal settings and applications. Each setting would include several Egger products that were recommended due to their high performance and aesthetics. The viewer could easily navigate around the 3D model and select each application to understand the best performing product.

 

Creative

We first sketched a 3D diorama to visualise the concept, before proceeding to build several settings, including a restaurant and bar, office, bedroom, kitchen and retail shop. Every setting was highly detailed and showed surfaces and applications suitable for Egger to present a broad range of materials, finishes and colours. Last of all, we set camera paths to animate into each setting, enabling viewers online to get closer to each product and learn more.

 

Results

The project delivered a fully interactive and visually rich digital tool that transformed how Egger presents its laminate range. By placing products within realistic interior settings, the platform made it far easier for architects, designers and fabricators to understand suitable applications and explore complementary materials.

The three dimensional environment improved product education, supported more accurate specification and strengthened Egger’s ability to demonstrate the breadth and quality of its collection. It also provided a scalable asset that could be used across online channels, customer presentations and wider marketing activity, helping Egger communicate its expertise with greater clarity and impact.
