FastHouse

Website and 3D

Challenge

FastHouse is a leading manufacturer of timber frame structures for residential developments. Based in Northern Ireland, it has become a leading name throughout the UK and Ireland, for off-site manufacturing to increase the speed and precision of housebuilding. The superior thermal performance of off-site manufacturing vs. traditional brick and block is more attractive to housebuilders. FastHouse was acquired by Lagan Investments to meet the surge in demand for timber frame housing developments. We had to design and build a website that represented the scale of the manufacturing facility and the precision of each structure, as well as informing the unrivalled, value added product portfolio that FastHouse offers to developers.

Strategy

Our strategic direction was to visualise the composition of each panel offered in the portfolio and communicate the clear advantages to off-site manufacturing. Speed, precision, performance and sustainability were all beneficial qualities that needed to be featured throughout the website.

Creative

We built highly technical, photo-realistic 3D representations of each panel and key area of the structure. These renders were complemented by three 3D houses showing the different levels of value-added structures that could be manufactured off-site at the FastHouse facility. The user journey was defined for several audiences and our site map captured the core products, services and benefits. Built from the ground up with full CMS, the website was thoroughly tested and extensively launched on desktop, tablet and mobile formats.
