Our work includes rebrand and repositioning, commercial strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, market diversification. We also work clients on product animations, innovative web platforms, corporate videos, photography shoots and exhibition support.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Writer with strong B2B experience to create clear, accurate, and practical content for complex products, systems, or services. This role is focused on helping professional audiences understand how things work, how to use them, and why they matter.
You’ll work closely with internal account managers and account directors. You will also work closely with our clients in the form of engineers, product managers, technical specialists, and marketing teams to turn detailed, often complex information into structured, usable content that supports customers, partners, and internal teams.
This is a very important hire for our agency – as one of the leading B2B agencies in the UK and beyond, it is critical for us to truly understand the nature of our clients’ businesses and products so we remain expertly placed to continue to deliver world-class technical copy to help elevate their respective propositions.

Please note all of our roles are based 5 days per week at our Chester City Centre offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit technical content for B2B audiences, including product documentation, technical guides, specifications, manuals, training materials, and supporting marketing content
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and well‑structured written material
  • Work with engineers, technicians, and subject‑matter experts to gather, validate, and clarify technical detail
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all technical content
  • Maintain and apply documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines
  • Adapt content for different audiences, from technical specialists to commercial or operational decision‑makers
  • Review existing documentation and improve clarity, usability, and structure
  • Manage multiple pieces of work and contribute to documentation planning and prioritisation

Requirements & Skills

  • Strong background in industrial businesses – engineering, manufacturing, automotive, industrial, software, or technical services sectors
  • Experience producing content for compliance, testing, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with user guides, installation instructions, training content, or service documentation
  • Experience supporting both customer‑facing and internal technical documentation

Company Benefits

Salary £35,000+ depending on experience
